Reflecting on 2025: A Year of Growth, Gratitude and Togetherness at HRE

2025 was more than just a calendar year for Himalayan Ridge Engineering (HRE): it was a journey of shared purpose, steady growth and meaningful human connection. As we look back, we do so with humility and gratitude for our people, our partners and the trust placed in us by clients across borders.

A People-Driven Year
At the heart of 2025 was our team. HRE grew from 20 to 26 dedicated professionals, each bringing commitment, curiosity, and care to everything we do. From introducing Employee of the Quarter and Year recognition to implementing structured Career Development Plans, Performance Improvement Plans, and EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), we continued building a workplace where people feel seen, supported and empowered to grow.
We also strengthened accessibility and transparency by remaining available 24/7 through our website for career opportunities, reinforcing our belief that growth should always be open and inclusive.

Learning, Skills, and Professional Growth
2025 marked important steps in professional development. We conducted in-house Revit training led by an experienced architect, directly benefiting eight team members. We also had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Sohil Paudel, P.E., for two weeks in our office, which helped HRE gain invaluable insights through training and mentorship directly from Professional Engineers from the USA. These experiences strengthened not only our technical skills but also our understanding of real-time project management, time discipline and practical decision-making in global engineering practice.

Milestones That Shaped Us
This year was filled with moments that reminded us why culture matters as much as capability:

Expansion from one floor to two floors in April, symbolizing physical and organizational growth
Celebration of HRE’s 6th Anniversary on August 7, made special by client appreciation and our CSR engagement supporting autism-related causes
HRE Recreation Day: We gathered for a team picnic focused on refreshment and team spirit. Through engaging activities like Bingo, Musical Chairs, and Tug of War, we stepped away from our desks to encourage deeper bonding and collective energy.
Welcoming international guests and partners, whose presence enriched our perspectives
Team celebrations of Teej, Dashain, Tihar, and recreational events including a Table Tennis Tournament and quarterly bonding activities

These moments strengthened trust, friendship, and our shared sense of belonging.

Projects, Expertise and Expanding Horizons
In 2025, HRE contributed to a diverse portfolio of projects, over 1,300 projects, with strong involvement in timber frame and residential projects, alongside equipment enclosures, temperature-controlled structures, railing systems and seismic damage assessments. We also took meaningful steps into structural drafting services, expanding our support capabilities for global partners.
Our technical exposure spanned steel, timber, cold-formed steel, hot-rolled steel, aluminum, sandwich panels, and engineered materials, reinforcing our adaptability and engineering depth.
